The Government has introduced a range of legislation and incentives, such as the Green Deal and Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), to encourage and enforce the use of renewable solutions, like air source heat pumps, to help reduce the long term energy and carbon impact that buildings have on the environment. As a result of all this legislation Mac Marney Refrigeration and Heat Pump Air Conditioning have become proficient in selecting and installing energy efficient alternatives to traditional domestic and commercial heating equipment, to meet our clients environmental commitments and desires.
In commercial properties, 44% of the total energy usage provides the space heating and hot water. In residential building this percentage raises to over 80%. The cost savings that can be gained from installing heat pumps are considerable, alongside the reliability of the technology, giving an extended product life supported by maintenance from our engineers.
